Age: 13 - 14 years old, September 2010 – August 31, 2012

JUNIOR is for youth baseball players who are ready to play competitive games.
SKILLS:  Batting, player pitch, base running, throwing and catching.  Pitchers and Catchers development to competitive game play.
Players must have effective playing skills and play as a Team while having FUN!

This is competitive House League Program, where the players practice together and play Interleague Games within and outside our District 8.  Travel is required!



The season begins with "Spring Ball" - early May to end of June; then there is the offer for "Summer Ball"  late June/July to end of August.  In order to play Summer Ball, you must have played Spring Ball.  This will require separate registrations and fees.  Summer Ball only runs if there is a commitment from existing Spring Ball registered players.             
UPDATED:  We will play in District 8 for Spring Ball with travel to Perth, Carleton Place - Mississippi Little League only in Spring Ball Season.  This team could play in Tournaments adding exposure to other teams/players and building opportunities for more FUN!
Summer Ball will be with District 2 with travel to Perth, Carleton Place, Kanata and Ottawa West.  This is not included in the the Spring Ball Fee.  Registration for this program would take place after Spring Ball is completed.  
 Regular Season Games tbd with our other local house leagues. These are umpired games!     
    We will practice, when local fields are ready - hoping for Lanark Rink Pad for Spring Training.  We may host some double header games on weekends to develop our Team further.
Tentative Schedule: Mondays-Fridays and Sundays. This is dependant on District 8 Schedule and field availability locally for Spring Ball  Location:  Home fields: Lanark Village Clyde Park and Vincent Hall Memorial Park, McDonalds Corners
Equipment -  Included in fee: Ball cap -  Loaned Uniform Shirt - $50 deposit to be collected.  Team equipment including bats.
Equipment required: Baseball glove, batting helmet, Cleats - metal cleats are allowed, Ball pants to compliment uniformed shirt.  Personal bats are allowed 2 5/8 inch barrel, USA stamped or BBCOR rating, less than 36 inch length.
