Major (Lanark Highlands Ball)

LANARK HIGHLANDS LITTLE LEAGUE REQUIRES VOLUNTEERS TO RUN OUR PROGRAMS!

MAJOR 2025

Age: Major 11 - 13 years old, September 2012 – August 31, 2014.

Program:
MAJOR is for youth players with developed baseball skills – batting, player pitch,
base running, throwing, catching and game play. Focus is on Team work, field positions,
game strategies, player pitch and catcher development, while having fun!

This is a House League Program, with practices and Interleague Games with Perth 
and Mississippi Little League - Carleton Place teams.

Tournament play is a must do in 2025.

There will be player evaluations and a potential for an All Star Team to represent our 
Little League in “Out of House” tournaments.

Hosting double header exhibition games on weekends to develop our Teams further
is a possibility.

Tentative Schedule: Tuesdays (Home Game - 630 pm) and Thursdays 
(Away Games - Perth - 630 pm) AND Away games at 600 PM  - MLL locations: Carleton Place,
Beckwith, Almonte). Games are Umpired! 

Location: Home Games at Lanark Village Clyde Park at 630pm

Equipment: Included in fee: Ball cap, Loaned Uniform Shirt

Equipment required: Baseball glove, helmet, plastic cleats recommended, personal protection.
Ball pants to compliment uniformed shirt.
