Program:
JUNIOR is for youth baseball players who are ready to play competitive games and are able to travel outside our local leagues. The season begins with "Spring Ball" - early May to end of June; then there is the offer for "Summer Ball" late June/July to end of August. In order to play Summer Ball, you must have played Spring Ball. This will require two registrations.
– batting - player pitch, base running, throwing and catching.
Mastery of Team Pitchers and Catchers to engage in competitive game play.
Team work, focus and strong game play are vital!
Players must have effective playing skills and play as a Team and still have FUN!
This is a competitive House League Program, where the players practice together and play Interleague Games within and outside our District 8.
In 2024 we will play in District 2 with travel to Carleton Place, Perth, Kanata and Ottawa West
Travel within our District 8 to compete as a District 8 representative team is a possibility.
Games will be scheduled in advance and is completed by a District 2 scheduler. We will work on transportation.
Tournament play is a possibility in 2024. Travel is involved.
There will be player evaluations if we decide to compete for a District Representative Team!
This Team will represent our Little League in District 8, 2 & 6, 7 if successful.
“Out of House” games and tournaments are a must do.
We will practice until games are scheduled.
We may host some double header games on weekends to develop our Team further.
Potential to form our own Local "All Star" Team.
